Getting Ready To Run

In November, there will be a lure coursing trial over in Bush, LA, north of New Orleans. I'll be taking a couple of new dogs to run the Junior Courser tests. Before that, we'll go over to the whippet lady's house for a practice session to see who will run and who might just stay home!

I thought I'd get out the "racing silks" and put'em on the pups for them to get use to the pull of the material. I've got two sets - pink (1), yellow (2) and blue (3). Here's (L to R) my models - Prize in pink, Magic in yellow and Guy in the blue.

Of course, I put silks on just about everyone and they thought they were looking mighty fine and had to show off in the yard. Prize and Magic on the left, Ozzie and Sizzle on the right..

I called everyone back to the house to take off their "skins", but Darla thought we were really out at the pecan tree because there was a squirrel...She finally relented and came running..
